With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Philip H. Foster of Port Byron, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Foster and Elizabeth Foster (Shore); his wife Sue; his son Brent Foster; and his siblings, Dorothy Laxton and Charles C. Foster, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Hurry (Chad) and Amy Anderson (Nick); and his grandchildren, Taylor Hurry and Lauren Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gibson - Bode Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. - Port Byron (202 N Main St, Port Byron, IL 61275). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (9412 228th St N, Port Byron, IL 61275). A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (410 S High St, Port Byron, IL 61275).
Memorials may be made to Port Byron First United Methodist Church, Riverdale Boosters in support of the Football Program, or Quad Cities Canine Assistance Network (QCCAN).
