He was predeceased by : his parents, John F. and Linda M.; and his uncles, Steve Smanda (late Maria) and Louis Smanda. He is survived by : his siblings, John F. Jr. (Dawn) and Laurie (Jason Kurgan); his nieces and nephews, Larissa Ferguson (Tim), Johnny Flanagan (Patrick Gaffigan), Connor Flanagan and Dean Sawka; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Trinity, Landyn, Teagyn and Taytum; and his aunts, Mary Lee Hodits (Kenneth), Jeanette Cochran (Ernest) and Debbie Durkin (Tom).
