He was predeceased by : his brother Chad Patrick Kertz; his grandparents, Robert, Effie Huddleston, Donald and Bernadine Kertz; his father-in-law Gene Clerc; and his sister-in-law Julie Clerc.
He is survived by : his parents, Kenneth Kertz and Patsy Kertz of Red Bud, IL; his daughters, Livie and Maggie Kertz of Prairie; his wife Kelly Kertz of Prairie; his sister Heather Poenitske (Gerald, Jr) of Ruma, IL; his mother-in-law Arlene Clerc of Prairie; his siblings-in-law, Kathy Greenberg (Rob) of Ringgold, GA, Daryl Clerc (Pam) of Prairie, Dean Clerc of St. Charles, MO, Duane Clerc of Prairie and Dan Clerc (Janie) of Bonney Lake, WA; and his nieces and nephews, Nathan Poenitske (Alyssa), Andrew Poenitske, Jeremy Greenberg (Ashley), Alissa Broom (Glen), Jennine Weber (Cody), Elliot Clerc, Caitlin, Lauren, Maura Clerc, Hannah, Sam and Rachel Clerc. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
