He is survived by: his parents, Larry Mudd and Diane Mudd; his wife Liz Mudd; his son Caleb Mudd; his siblings, Jeff Mudd (Kim), Jen Mudd and Kim Steibel (Corey); his mother-in-law Sharon Greten; his sisters-in-law, Sarah Schmitz (Keith), Cheryl Steiner (Joe), Jenny Bievenue (Sean) and Stephanie Hanner (John); and his nieces and nephews, Garrett, Brinley, Lucas Mudd, Cooper, Nora Steibel, Cody, Kelsey Schmitz, Ethan, Abby Steiner, Dylan, Jena, Lexi Bievenue, Savannah, Peyton Hanner, Sikeston and Skyler Hopple.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Pechacek Funeral Homes (1340 W Market St, Red Bud, IL 62278). A Mass was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (802 Middle St, Prairie Du Rocher, IL 62277).
