We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2022, at the age of 92, Donald Schwanke (Princeton, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his former life partner Marilyn Milanesi Stuart (Puddy). He is survived by : his wife Myra Polizzi (Smith); his sons, W. Scott Schwanke (Janet) of Deerfield, IL and Paul D. Schwanke (Ginna Shannon) of Eau Claire, MI.; his granddaughters, Beth Schwanke (Eric Bukstein) of Pittsburgh, PA and Lauren Schwanke of Deerfield, IL; his great grandchildren, Emma and Madeline Bukstein; his brother Roland K. Schwanke of Gridley, IL; and his stepchildren, Kim Hack (Larry) of Peoria, IL, Kevin Polizzi (Joyce), Kerry Polizzi (Jean) of Elmhurst, IL and Kirk Polizzi (Laura) of Wilmington, NC..

Memorials may be made to American Legion Post #8, Wenona, IL or to the Salvation Army.
