She was predeceased by : her mother Josephine Murtha (Friedrich); her husband Warren; her son Joseph Taylor; her father Edward Murtha; and her siblings, Joseph, Tom, Bill, Marianne and Fran.

She is survived by : her children, Father Tom of Peoria, IL, Rosemary (Dave Treftz) of Minneapolis, MN, Warren of Canada and Roger (Amy) of Lake Forest, IL; and her siblings, Joan Schoenfelder of Parkston, SD, Noreen Cyr of Houston, Lois Panayi of Georgetown, TX, Carol Naatz of Pittsburgh, PA, John Murtha (Anne) of Dimock, SD and Tim Murtha (Timothea) of Bartlesville, OK. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
