Gerri Lyn (Mecum) Herren Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerri Lyn (Mecum) Herren of Princeton, Illinois, who passed away on May 21, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gerri Lyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gerri Lyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald W. Mecum, Sr. and F. Geraldine Mecum (Clark); and her husband David A. Herren. She is survived by: her brothers, Donald Mecum, Jr. (Christine) of Ohio, IL and Scott Mecum (Stacey) of Kasbeer, IL. She is also survived by three nephews and one niece.
