She was predeceased by: her parents, Assar Peterzén and Aina Peterzén (Carlmark); and her siblings, Ellsworth Peterzén (Jane) and Barbara Bennett (Orrin). She is survived by: her husband Donald Eklund; and her children, Michael Eklund (Adele) of Glendale, Wisconsin, Julie Schmitt of Grand Prairie, Texas, David Eklund (Jeanine) of Naples, Florida and Barbara Marella (Vincent) of Virginia Beach, Virginia.. She is also survived by grandchildren and 8 cherished great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, the Princeton Public Library, or the Donald and Gloria Eklund Endowed Scholarship Fund at Illinois State University.
