He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold F. Peterson and Doris Peterson (Fischer) of Benson, IL.; his son James Nathan Peterson; his sister Marian; and his brother-in-law Tom Bertram.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Peterson (Brieser); his son David Peterson (Holly) of Oregon, IL; his grandchildren, Emily Deuth (Jacob), Abigail Peterson, Justin Peterson, Austin Peterson (Jordan) and Torri Angulo (Isay); his great grandchildren, Lucy, Arthur James Deuth, Ainsley Layton Peterson, Mac E., Jennings James Peterson, Ruby James and Noah Hayes Angulo; his daughter-in-law Cathy Peterson; and his nieces and nephews, Scott, Mark Bertram, Leslie Sanche, Lisa Reinmann and Laura Bertram.
