Joann Marie Allen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joann Marie Allen of Princeton, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Kitterman and Mable Kitterman (Trimmer); her son-in-law Allen B. Losey; her son Larry Allen; and her siblings, Irving, Donnie, Ward Kitterman, Irma Bruce, Norma DeRose, Nina Norine and Vera Miller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Ackerman (Kent) of East Moline, IL and Catherine Losey of Princeton, IL; her daughter-in-law Kathleen Allen of Princeton, IL; her grandchildren, Kelly Keith (Benjamin), Julie Allen, Jennifer Allen, Nathan Losey, Katie Donofrio (John) and Molly Alred (Brandon); and her great grandchildren, Kaden, Carter, Bennett Keith, Ian Donofrio, Hope Alred and Ellie Teske.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home (30 W Mechanic St, Princeton, IL 61356). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bureau Township Community Church (19126 Wyanet-Walnut Rd, Princeton, IL 61356). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Elm Lawn Memorial Park (480 N Knox St, Princeton, IL 61356).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or the Bureau County Farm Bureau Foundation in her memory.
