It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Albert Purvis of Princeton, Illinois, born in Spring Valley, Illinois, who passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Purvis and Maomia "Tina" Purvis (Skaggs). He is survived by : his siblings, Ron Heitmann of Princeton, IL and Kathy Layton (Allen) of Kasbeer, IL; his nieces, Stephanie Galassi (Matthew) and Ashley Hensley (Michael); and his nephew Christopher Layton (Miranda). He is also survived by three great-nieces; two great-nephews.
