He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Sr. Lusher and Hilda Lusher; and his siblings, Herbert Jr., Gerald, James, George Richard and Jane Freeman.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his daughters, Lisa Hansen (Rick) and Julie Marankie (George); his grandchildren, John Hansen, Kathleen Staton, Haley Bobo and Marty Marankie; his great grandchildren, Nolan Hansen, Mara Hansen, Isabella Staton, Rhett Bobo and Parker Bobo; his siblings-in-law, Susan Bentz, Elizabeth Lusher, John Bentz (Paula) and Richard Bentz (Barbara); and his cousin George Wieland (Barabara). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
