She was predeceased by : her parents, Barney Underwood and Myrtle Underwood (Staples); her husband Frank Lewis; her children, James and Carol Grundman; her granddaughter Eileen Grundman; and her sisters, Edith Wahlstrom and Doris Yarrington.

She is survived by : her children, Barbara Wolcott (Howard) of Rock Falls, IL, David Lewis (Diane) of Princeton, IL and Donald Lewis (Carin) of Princeton, IL; and her pet Josey. She is also survived by her family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The First United Methodist Church in Princeton, IL., The Princeton Public Library or the Tiskilwa Historical Society.
