He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Wallis and Edna A. Wallis (Palmore); and his siblings, Barbara Krooner, Kay Daukas and George E. Wallis.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Andrew of Carlock, IL and Jason (Bridey Heing) of Washington, DC; and his sisters, Alice Hurley of Marysville, OH and Sharon Cagle of North Carolina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Evangelical Covenant Church (24 N Main St, Princeton, IL 61356). A burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oakland Cemetery (812 Park Ave W, Princeton, IL 61356).
