With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Smith of Princeton, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Clarence and Mary Zeta Smith (Lampkin); his spouse Armenta "June" Dorff; his sisters, Mary and Regina Smith; and his brother-in-law Homer Steele.

He is survived by : his children, Bill Smith (Michele VanderMeersch) of Princeton and Michelle "Shelly" Simon (Michael) of Naperville; his grandchildren, Jacob Smith (Jenna), Paige Smith, Maia Simon and Michael Simon; and his siblings, Jim Smith (Susan) of Hampton, NH and Louise Steele of Marshal.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Princeton Moose Lodge (1339 N Euclid Ave, Princeton, IL 61356).
