He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Begner and Helen Begner (Bouton); his siblings, Eleanor Meehan, Robert Begner and Terry Begner; and his brother-in-law Mike Meehan.
He is survived by: his children, Lyle E. Begner (Jayme) of Peoria Heights and Lisa Brodine (Douglas) of Laura; his grandsons, Jonathan Lowry (Brittney), Austin Brodine (Victoria) and Blake Begner; his great grandchildren, Paisley and Westen Lyle Lowry; his siblings, Imogene Tanner (Harold) of Speer, Jack Begner (Carol) of Chillicothe, Karl Begner (Debbie) of Dunlap and Nyle Begner (DeAnna) of Elmwood; and his sister-in-law Susan Begner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
