Gilroy (Princeville, Illinois), born in Lost Nation, Iowa, who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert P. Gilroy and Madonna Gilroy (Bauer); his brothers, Robert and Joseph Gilroy; and his daughter Caitlin Terese Gilroy.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa Gilroy (Park); his children, Lyndsay Blank (Jon) of Princeville, IL, Rose Gilroy of Westfield, IN, Patrick Gilroy (Cara) of Clinton, MA, Molly Timmerman (Troy) of Cambridge, England, Peter Gilroy of Ames, IA and Bridget Gilroy of Princeville, IL; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Madelyn, Joseph Blank, Cayleigh Gilroy and Cecilia Timmerman; and his siblings, Kathleen Gilroy of Villa Park, IL, Mary Gilroy Larson of Davenport, IA, Margaret Gilroy of Lost Nation, IA and Frank Gilroy of Waubeek, IA..
