Murphy; his daughters, Kathleen Ann Messersmith (Bill) of Princeville and Julie Kay Wilson (Greg) of Chillicothe; his brother Charles German (Kathy) of Princeville; his grandchildren, Chad Messersmith, Andrew Black (Lesa), Beth Kurtz (Nathan), Kaelynn Wilson and Rebecca Wilson (Anna Nokes); his parents, L. E. German and Regina German; and his caregivers, Auri, Chloe, Joanna and Wendy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Princeville United Methodist Church or the Akron-Princeville Fire Department.
