He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ann Tenboer; his sons, Kent Ackerman (Deb) of Prophetstown, IL and Mike Ackerman (Karen Josephs) of New York City, NY; his grandchildren, Arlyn John Ackerman (Irem Bastuzel), Kylie Faith DenBesten (Keaton) and Jayla Josephs; and his great grandchildren, Adaline and Gabriella DenBesten. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (300 E 3rd St, Prophetstown, IL 61277).
