She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer J. Anderson and Hilda E. Anderson (Johnson); her husband John Hall Massey; and her brothers, Robert Anderson (Shirley), Clarence Anderson (Eilien) and James Anderson (Mary).

She is survived by : her children, Cynthia Tessendorf (Larry) of Chadwick, IL and Gary Massey (Bonnie) of Rockford, IL; her grandchildren, John Tessendorf (Teri Turner), Kevin Tessendorf and Lisa Marie Zimmerman (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Abigail Betourne (Kyle), Syndi Tessendorf, Scarlett Tessendorf, Emery Zimmerman and Geo Zimmerman.

A memorial has been established in her honor, in lieu of flowers.
