It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwen Gardner of Prophetstown, Illinois, who passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gwen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean C. Gardner and Marjorie J. Gardner (Gibson); and her sisters, Marcia and Francia. She is survived by: her brother Garth Gardner (Kelly) of Greenville, ME; her nieces, Bailey Rose (Ted) and Lindsay Gardner (Trevor York); her nephew Sully Gardner (Coral Hinkley); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Austyn Rose, Barrett Rose and Theo Gardner.
