It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen A. Waldbusser of Prophetstown, Illinois, who passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Albrecht and Martha Albrecht (Blackert); her husband Robert C. Waldbusser; her siblings, Mildred Miatke (Maurice) and John Albrecht, Jr. (Pat); and her sisters-in-law, Beverly Albrecht and Betty Albrecht.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Vaught (George) of Bloomington, IL and Michael Waldbusser of Downers Grove, IL; her grandsons, Zachary Kelley of Anchorage, AK and Blake Kelley of Seattle, WA; and her brothers, Marvin Albrecht of Sterling, IL and Wayne Albrecht of Dekalb, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to Henry C. Adams Public Library and Prophetstown United Methodist Church.
