It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnne Cocking of Prophetstown, Illinois, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 1, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Wienke and Ruth Wienke (Toepel); her brother Don Wienke; and her parents-in-law, Kenneth and Audrey Cocking.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth E. Cocking; her children, Julie Rowland, Paul Cocking (Tanya) and Sarah Toulassi (Boniface); her grandchildren, Hunter Rowland and Crepine Toulassi; her brother Jon Wienke (Gail); and her parents-in-law, Lyle Cocking (Linda), Arlett VanDamme and Jane Wienke.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to First Lutheran Church in Prophetstown and Prophetstown Food Pantry.
