It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita M. Bender of Prophetstown, Illinois, who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fay McKee and Anna McKee (Martin); and her husband Larry Bender (Butch). She is survived by: her children, Fred Pope, Don Bender, Brian Bender (Mary), Dana Jensen (Aaron) and Ron Bender.

Gathering of family and friends with social distancing, masks, and COVID protocol will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
