With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pamela L. Shaner of Prophetstown, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 3, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Pamela's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her father Leslie Dever. She is survived by: her mother Arlene Dever (Redell); her husband Mark Shaner; and her children, Dana Taylor (Nikki Johnson) of Prophetstown and Jared Shaner (Erinne) of Dixon. She is also survived by five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her mother; two sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home - Prophetstown (46 Grove St, Prophetstown, IL 61277).
In lieu of flower, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the Dementia Society of America.
