She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Mae Rogers and Elijah Blake; her son Nakia Cook; her grandson Jackie Blake (Shawn); and her brothers, Roger Blake (Jimmy) and Ronnie K. (Blake).
She is survived by: her children, Donnie R. Blake (Rudell) of Pulaski, IL, Allison M. Madison (Robert) of Mound City, IL, Tyrone Cook (Jennifer) of Chicago, IL., Keith Cook of Chicago, IL. and Chaka "Chuck" Cook (Lisa) of Chicago, IL.; and her grandchildren, Shaunice Bucker, Shanay Cook, Tyrone Cook, Jr., Tysean Cook, Demetrius White, Latilya White, Brianna White, Brittany White, Donnisha Patterson (Leon), Donnie Blake, Jr., Janiece Blake, Skylar Blake, Shante Cook, Shantrice Cook, Chaka Cook Jr. and Chanelle Burton. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Massie Funeral Home (429 Oakley St, Mounds, IL 62964). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at the Spencer Heights Cemetery.
