With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin L. Goode Jr. of Putnam, Illinois, born in Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away on November 7, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin L. Goode, and Marion Goode, Sr. (Smith); and his wife Janet A. Dylo. He is survived by: his daughters, Putnam, Sheryl Hillier (Charles), Wendy Johnson (Wayne) of Royse City, TX and Renée Tiemann (Timothy) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Paul Hillier (Brittany), Jordyn Maier (Jason), Ryan Hillier (Brooke), Johnathan Hillier, Kyle Johnson, Eyan Tiemann, Henry Hillier, Jayden Tiemann, Hannah Johnson, Kirra Tiemann, Aaron Tiemann, Nathan Tiemann and Amelya Tiemann; and his great grandchildren, Isabella Hillier, Jace Hillier, Lia Maier and Zoe Maier.
Memorials may be directed to the Knights of Columbus in Hennepin, IL or Abigail Women's Center in Mendota, IL. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Edwin L. Goode 's name.
