It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adalberta E. Flachs (Quincy, Illinois), who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Adalberta E. Flachs to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Otto George and Esther Mae Stierlin (Davis); her husband Lowell Flachs; and her siblings, Betty Derby, Otto George Stierlin, Jr., Perry Stierlin, Milton Stierlin, Lawrence Stierlin and Diane McSorley.

She is survived by : her children, Lowell Andrew Flachs (Jane) of Quincy, Susan Marie Vermillion (Wilbur Savidge) and Janet Flachs MacMillan (Keith) of Royce City, TX.. Grandchildren John Hamann and his wife Kia, Heather Daley and her husband Jeff, Gene Vermillion, Terry Spitzer, and Joshua Flachs. She is also survived by Numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sunset Home Senior Living Activities Fund or to the DCA (Dachshunds Club of America) Health and Welfare Trust Fund.
