She was predeceased by: her parents, Hartford Walden and Neva Walden (Steinbach); her former husband Danny J. Vahle; and her brother-in-law Tom Ward. She is survived by: her children, Richard Vahle (Melinda) of Columbia, Missouri, Steven Vahle of Columbia, Missouri and Kelley Sorenson (Robert) of Fowler, Illinois; her grandchildren, Eric Vahle (Alicia), Scott Vahle (Carrie), Cody Vahle (Kelli), Lane Vahle (Hoku), Aja Vahle, Skylar Vahle, Danielle Kersten (Zachary), Elizabeth Rudolph (Ethan) and Cole Sorenson; her great grandchildren, Hailiey, Hope, Elliott, Sky and Bralyn; and her siblings, Terry Walden (Marilyn), Drake Walden (Judy), Laura Ward, Sylvia Webster (Lee) and Martha Walden. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
