He was predeceased by: his parents, George James and Mary Burton James; his children, Larry James and Sarah Jane; his siblings, Ernie James, Earl James, Lorraine Hurst and Nancy Richardson; and his great grandchild Sophia Sherrod.
He is survived by: his children, Michael James (Marjorie) of Prairie City, IL, Sidney James (Jennifer) of Bardolph, IL, Becky Campbell (Mike) of Bonita Springs, FL and Bonnie Wilson (Tom) of Colchester, IL; and his sister Georgia Hendrickson of Tucson, AZ. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
