She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Worland and Hester Livenspargar Worland; her former spouse H. I. Ruth; her spouse Murl Pemberton; and her daughter Jennie Mayre Stout.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Harry Ruth (Jenny) of Quincy, IL and Harriet Shepard (Michael) of Poplar Bluff, MO; and her grandchildren, Dr. Kelly Dove (Steve) of Nixa, MO, Dr. Greg Ruth (Courtney) of Houston, TX, Elizabeth Campbell (Seth) of Quincy and Stephen Stout (Christine) of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
