With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brandon Meyer (Quincy, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 26, 2025 at the age of 42. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William, Virginia Meyer, Shirley Gallaher, Rev. Tom and Mary Waters.
He is survived by: his significant other Stephanie Meyer; his children, Logan, Charlie (Kameil) and Parker Meyer; his grandson Silas Meyer; his parents, Sandra Waters and Jeff Waters; his siblings, Zachary Waters and Brittany Waters; his parents-in-law, Holly and Steve Hudelson; his siblings-in-law, Corey Hudelson (Jen), Chad Hudelson and Grace Mabry; and his grandparents, Lee Gallaher and Maxine Hudelson. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home (1535 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
