She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Green and Bessie Green (Payne); her husband Charles E. Brooks; and her siblings, Samuel, Howard Green, Mildred and Ella.
She is survived by: her cousin Naome Hood. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Quincy Memorial Park (5300 Broadway St, Quincy, IL 62305).
