It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl A. Middendorf of Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on August 17, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Middendorf and Leona Middendorf (Myer); his wife Rita K. Keyes; and his siblings, Richard Middendorf (Mary Ann) and Arlene Middendorf.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Middendorf (Sandy Collins) of Evansville, IN, Curt Middendorf (Angela) of Camdenton, MO and Marti Kientzle (Fred, III) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Erika Birchler (Zedic), Brittany Middendorf, Derek Midddendorf (April), Mitchell Middendorf (Mary), Curt Middendorf, Leah Grisham (Jacob), Fred Henry "Freddie" Kientzle, IV (Emily), Brandon Kientzle (Trianna), Parker and Faith Kientzle; his great grandchildren, Hank Kientzle, Barrett Kientzle, River Rose Kientzle, Rome Kientzle, Beau Kientzle, Delany, Joy Middendorf, Jace Grisham, Benji and Vincent Middendorf; his stepgreat-grandchildren, William and Zoe Birchler; and his nephew Max Middendorf (Brenda) of Pittsfield, IL.
