With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl R. Cain of Quincy, Illinois, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on February 28, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Cain and Carol Cain. He is survived by : his children, Carla Houghton (Jeff) of Leesburg and David Cain (Holly) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Dustin Houghton (Maria) of Holland, MI, Ryan Houghton of Lexington, KY, Caylin Haxel (Blaise) of Quincy, Evan Cain of Quincy and Paige Cain of Quincy; and his great grandchildren, Jax Houghton, Luca Houghton, Stella Haxel and Blair Haxel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice.
