It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlene R. Cane (Quincy, Illinois), who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Brinkman and Marie Brinkman; her husband Merle Franklin Cane; and her children, Merle Franklin Cane Jr. and Candace Ann Mathews.
She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara Wade, Richard Brinkman and Elizabeth McColez; her former spouses, Theresa Boyce of Albuquerque, NM, Mary Shoemaker of Sarasota, FL, Donna Carpenter of Dover, MO and Donald Cane of Quincy; and her siblings, Marilyn Meyer and Clarence Brinkman Jr.. She is also survived by grandma by her fourteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, and 4 great, great grandchildren.
