She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Weatherred Hoener and Irie Henry Schroeder; her children, John R. Feld, James I. Feld and Dana S. Sass; and the fathers of children, Donald R. Feld and Jerry Lee Wilcox.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Jeanine Jones of Highland Village, TX and Kelly [Merl] Whan of Camp Point, IL.; her grandchildren, Melissa [Jennifer Berger] Feld and Liberty; her great grandchildren, Brynna Berger Feld, Makena Berger Feld, Graham Sass, Declan Sass, Brayden Jones, Oliver, Ollie, Brooks and Lily Hinkle; and her children-in-law, Patricia Feld and Jon E. Sass.

Carroll donated her body to science and there will be no public services at this time.
