We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2024, at the age of 96, Cecil Davis of Quincy, Illinois, born in Clayton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Isaac Davis and Mary Phillips Davis; his wife Doris Joan Lierly; and his siblings, Gladys Louderback, Della Brady, Velma Johnson, Ida Alcorn, Minnie Ross, Jesse Davis, Ernest Davis and Berniece Guthrie.

He is survived by : his son Kevin Gardner (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jason Gardner (Elizabeth) of Jackson Hole, WY., Nicole Gardner (Vince) and Quincy; and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Joseph, Henry and Gabby. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Quincy Senior Center.
