For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. Radel and Lilah Ruth Radel (Carlisle); and his brother David Radel. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine'Gerry'Fitzgerald; and his children, Thomas'Ted'Radel (Julie) and Patricia'Tricia'Radel. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home (823 Broadway St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Historical Society of Quincy and Adams County, St. Peter Catholic Church, Quincy; St. Peter and Paul Church in Nauvoo or to Memorial Hospital in Carthage, Illinois.
