He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Goertz and Mary Goertz (Anderson); his wife Mary Ella Bailey; and his parents-in-law, Glenn and Dorothy Bailey.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Dorothy Jones of Quincy, Lukie Harvey, Gay Davis (Bill) and Jimmy Jones (Becky). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many loving cousins.
