He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Owen Brown, Sr. and Mary Brown (Bliven); his former wife Dorothy Adair (Adair); his wife Donna Brown Dittmer (Hitch); and his siblings, Faye Huddleston, Elmer Brown, David Brown, Sylvia Furniss, Harold Brown, Leona Mellon and Gladys Mellon.
He is survived by: his former wife Donna M. Hitch; his children, Joyce Johnsen (Brad) of St. Charles, IL, Carol Foster (Don) of Lakewood, IL and Richard Brown (Cindy) of Schaumburg, IL.; his stepdaughter Debra Stolberg; his stepgrandson Zachary; his grandchildren, Gary Johnsen (Elissa), Phil Johnsen (Erin), Julie Cumblad (Alex), Steve Foster (Kirsten), Greg Foster (Jennifer), Carrie Nielsen (Bill), Richard Brown Jr. (Jamie), Jeremy Brown (Stacy) and Corey Brown (Gina); his great grandchildren, Derek, Reed Johnsen, Claire, Emily, Brooke, Zachery Johnsen, Ashley, Brandon Foster, Gavin, April Nielsen, Shawna, Logan, Riley, Autumn, Talon Brown, Caden, Aubrey Brown, Finley Brown, Carter and Hailey Cumblad; his great great grandchild Isabella Brown; and his sisters, Dorothy Miller of Arkansas and Pearl Coultas of Quincy. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
