David Alan Eadie Obituary

We announce the death of David Alan Eadie of Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on June 1, 2026, at the age of 81. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Blissfield Eadie Sr. and Nellie Mae Horrell Eadie; his son-in-law Michael Lindgren; and his siblings, Robert Blissfield Eadie, Jr. (Betty), Paul Warren Eadie (Alice), Elizabeth Ruth Eadie and Iva Jean Bayley (Herb).

He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Kay Holsapple; his daughters, Sarah Rhea (Josh) of Jacksonville, IL and Emily Lindgren of Quincy, IL; his grandchildren, Kaleb Rhea (Randa), Benjamin Rhea, Wesley Lindgren and Elise Lindgren; and his brother James Bruce Eadie (Sheri).
