She was predeceased by: her parents, Almon Bertsche and Vera Bertsche; her husband Arthur J. Paley; her siblings, Galene Huffman, Maxine Koopman, Thelma Kane and Ron Bertsche; her nephews, Jim Kane and David Bertsche; and her son-in-law Daniel McLaughlin.
She is survived by: her daughter JoAnn McLaughlin; and her siblings, Emily Amstutz (Richard) of Lakewood, Hilary Bertsche of Goshen and John Bertsche (Pat) of Olathe. She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews.
