Denver L. Echternkamp Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Denver L. Echternkamp of Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on March 18, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Echternkamp and Matilda Echternkamp (Kuntz); his brother C. D. Echternkamp; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Fischer and Barbara Peters.
He is survived by: his wife Betty J. Oenning; his children, Terri Jean Adkins (Michael) of Quincy, IL, Donald L. Echternkamp (Deann) of Palmyra, MO and Denver Echternkamp II (Angie) of Quincy, IL; his siblings, Quentin Echternkamp (Judy) of Kentucky and Karen Fischer of Quincy, IL; and his sister-in-law Arlene Echternkamp of Ursa, IL. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital in St. Louis, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or the Quincy Humane Society.
