He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Redner II and Matilda K. Redner (Smith); and his siblings, George E. Redner III and Sharon K. Dailing. He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Smith (Jeremy) of Quincy, IL; his grandchildren, Jordan Smith and Lexi Smith; and his friend Lisa Parson. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
