She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville A. Loos and Alta Stolte Loos; her former husband Kermit Barker; her husband John H. Nelson; and her brother James Loos.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Beth Brumbaugh (Kip) of Quincy, Lisa Terwelp (Tim) of Quincy, Erin Kealen (Nathaniel) of Quincy, Steven Barker (Joy) of Pittsfield, IL and John "JC" Barker (Sarah) of Pittsfield, IL; her stepdaughters, Vera Lynn Nelson and Carla Kay Morrison; and her siblings, Orville Loos, Jr. of Quincy, Judith Neisen (Gene) of Quincy, Betty Jenkins (Gayle) of Rushville, IL, Cheryl Brown of Quincy, IL and Kathy Neisen (Tom) of Fowler, IL. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren.
