We are sad to announce that, on March 31, 2023, at the age of 86, Doris A. Howell of Quincy, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle E. Ward and Laura McCoy Ward; her husband John D. Howell; her sister Wilma Behymer; her brother-in-law LeeRoy Behymer; and her sister Rita Pickinpaugh.

She is survived by: her sons, Randall Thomas (Teresa) of Urbandale, IA and Gary Thomas (Lindsey) of West Fargo, ND; her stepchildren, Becky Laurent (Greg) of Benton, AR and Michael Howell (Kim) of Alexander, AR; her grandchildren, Jason (Kaylee), Hannah and Rylee Thomas; her stepgrandchildren, Steven, Logan and Brooke Howell; and her brother-in-law Harold Pickinpaugh of Springfield, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
