Dorothy Zopf Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Zopf of Quincy, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bastert and Vera Bastert (Ginster); her husband Harold John Zopf; and her daughter Karen Zopf. She is survived by: her sister Marilyn; her sons, Michael Zopf of Champaign, IL, David Zopf (Doris Acquaviva Zopf) of Stafford, VA and Brian Zopf (Donna Zopf) of Quincy; her grandchildren, Adam Zopf, Eric Zopf (Sarah), Victoria Zopf, Peter Zopf, Bradley Zopf (Lydia) and Danielle Mercer (Nick); her great grandchildren, Haley, Frankie Zopf, Jonah, Micah Zopf, Ralph and Henry Mercer; her daughter-in-law Marilynne Wright Zopf; her siblings, Robert Bastert and Margaret Linthicum; and her brother-in-law Kent Martin. She is also survived by SISTER: Marilyn Martin Numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1119 S 7th St, Quincy, IL 62301). A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
