She is survived by: her son Charles Edwin McConnell (Melissa); her grandchildren, Jennifer Hiland (Dalton), Eric McConnell, Victoria Benjamin and Zachary Smith; and her sister Mary Brown Cox. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
