It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva J. Smith of Quincy, Illinois, born in Pittsfield, Illinois, who passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Marion Sutton; and her sister Letha Sutton. She is survived by : her mother Frances Sutton (Quincy); her husband Jeff Smith; her sons, Jeffrey Smith (Allison) of Quincy and Cody Smith (Kristin) of Quincy; her grandchildren, Alex, Connor, Gracelynn, Kori and Colson Smith; and her siblings, Rusty Sutton, Odena McDowell (Virgil), Sam Sutton, Tina Wagner (Greg) and Numerous. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church or to the family to help with expenses in care of Jeff Smith.
